The Dean’s Office for Medical Education and Curricular Affairs has developed a confidential online evaluation system just for YOU!
Evaluations are your way to comment on the learning environment at IUSM and improve it for future medical students. This new online evaluation system is a confidential avenue for submitting honest, constructive feedback about the instructors and courses you experienced. Your full participation is needed to successfully initiate curricular change at IUSM.
Your evaluations of instructors and courses are essential data for department chairs and course directors when making improvements in the curriculum. Student evaluations also play a significant role in faculty promotion and tenure decisions, curricular review and recommendations, and accreditation purposes. For example, suggestions offered by students have resulted in:
- Implementing block scheduling at some campuses
- Changing the format of courses
- Revising grading policies
